Window tint reduces heat through infrared (IR) rejection. Higher-quality films — especially ceramic — block up to 80–95% of IR rays before they enter your vehicle. Dyed films reduce glare but offer less heat performance. With ceramic film, you can stay cooler while staying legal.
Older metallic films could interfere with signals, but modern ceramic and carbon films are completely metal-free and 100% signal-safe. Your GPS, Bluetooth, satellite radio, and ADAS systems will work perfectly.
With professional installation and proper care, high-quality tint can easily last 10+ years. Avoid rolling windows down for 3–5 days after install, use ammonia-free cleaners, and park in shade when possible. All our installs include a Lifetime Warranty.
Tint percentage refers to Visible Light Transmission (VLT) — the amount of light allowed through the glass. North Carolina has specific laws for front, rear, and windshield tint. We’ll help you choose a shade that looks great, performs well, and keeps you legal.
